WHY?

Our goals are healthy water environments and stormwater as a water source.

If we are to continue life on earth, we must look at earth as a life form and calculate how much we are contaminating earth’s natural water and oxygen replenishment systems.

Everything else comes next - the sooner we realize this the more chances we have to minimize the long-term damage to the planet.

Humans use of water and oxygen with reckless abandon over the last 1000 years has come at a cost. We are now starting to understand the receiving water environments have already reached crisis points and in many cases, of no return with the damage already permanent.

In 1830 the global population reached 1 billion people, in 1930 it reached 2 billion people - with this significant population increase, manmade contamination of rainfall was now starting to make an impact. Fast forward nearly 100 years later we now have 8.2 billion people.

We all need oxygen and water to survive.

The ocean produces around 70% of oxygen that supports life in the ocean and on earth.

What damage have we already sustained?

  • Over 30% of the ocean is dead, not producing oxygen or food.
  • Only 50% of the ocean is producing Krill - the second step in the marine food chain.
  • Normally a 26% carbon sink, the ocean is now adding to climate change effects.
  • We have removed so much groundwater globally that we have now changed the axis of the earth.

Facts

1 Billion stormwater drains and billions of miles of interconnecting pipes installed and abandoned and open to the elements since installation.

All agricultural runoff untreated resulted in loss of 80% usable topsoil for agriculture globally.

Over 80% of wastewater is untreated and discharged into our waterways and ocean.

Why ARI?

What global scale water contamination sources exist that have not been addressed? Stormwater.

The global scale water contamination sources that are killing our major source of oxygen have no current solutions until now.... this is why we have developed ARI high flow to fine particle capture filtration solutions.

Cities Built on Crumbling Pipes: The Cost of Ignoring the World’s Largest Hidden Infrastructure
For centuries, stormwater infrastructure has quietly supported the rise of our cities. Buried beneath our feet, it prevents flooding, preserves public health, and channels billions of litres of water away from roads, homes, and businesses. But now, the systems that helped build the modern world are falling apart — and most people don’t even know ... Quadrillions of Litres Wasted: How Stormwater Could Solve Our Water Crisis If We Stopped Polluting It
Rainfall is not just weather, it’s Earth’s water replenishment mechanism. For millennia, this naturalcycle has sustained ecosystems, recharged groundwater, and nourished life. But somewhere along the way, humans forgot that. Today, we treat rainfall like a nuisance a cause of wet clothes and traffic delays rather than the life-giving force it truly is. We have ... Protecting Onslow Marine Support Base (OMSB) with ARI Stormwater Filtration Device (SFDs)
2025 | Case Study Setting a benchmark for sustainable decommissioning and marine operation Onslow Marine Support Base (OMSB) is one of Western Australia’s most strategically important facilities for offshore energy, logistics, and decommissioning activities. With decommissioning operations comes a heightened risk of environmental contamination from stormwater runoff  and decommissioning activities carrying hydrocarbons, heavy metals, microplastics ...
